This recipe makes about 35 scones when using a standard scone cutter.
1kg wheat flour
250g amaranth flour
50g baking powder
1.2 litres lacto or milk
Pre-heat oven to 200°C.
Mix wheat flour, amaranth flour, margarine, sugar and baking powder together.
Beat the eggs and mix with the lacto/milk.
Then mix all the ingredients together to form a smooth dough.
Roll out the dough and cut out scones with a scone cutter.
Place the scones on a baking tray in the oven and bake about 20 minutes.
