- 1kg wheat flour
- 250g amaranth flour
- 300g sugar
- 50g baking powder
- 400g margarine
- 4 eggs
- 1.2 litres lacto or milk
- Pre-heat oven to 200°C.
- Mix wheat flour, amaranth flour, margarine, sugar and baking powder together.
- Beat the eggs and mix with the lacto/milk.
- Then mix all the ingredients together to form a smooth dough.
- Roll out the dough and cut out scones with a scone cutter.
- Place the scones on a baking tray in the oven and bake for 18-22 minutes.
