Bambara nut and marula kernel mutakura

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bambara nuts
  • Half cup dry maize
  • 1 cup marula kernels
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix bambara nuts and maize.
  2. Boil the mixture until well cooked.
  3. Add a pinch of salt.
  4. Continue boiling over a low heat until all the water is finished.
  5. Pour the mixture in a bowl.
  6. Add a cup of marula kernels.
  7. Mix evenly.
  8. Serve with a glass of water or finger millet nutritional drink (maheu).
