Raisin Biscuits


  • 200g butter
  • 220g caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 175g wholegrain oatmeal flour
  • 175g plain white flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 200g raisins


  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  2. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla essence.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, add flours and mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in raisins.
  5. Drop level teaspoons of the cookie mixture onto the greased baking trays.
  6. Bake until lightly golden on the edges only (7 min) and let cool.
