Amazing rosella and ginger iced tea

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water
  • ½ cup dried hibiscus flowers, lightly rinsed
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan, take it off the heat and add the hibiscus flowers. Cover the pan, and let the tea brew for 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the tea using a fine sieve.
  3. Add the sugar, ginger and lemon juice and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Serve chilled.
