Amazing rosella and ginger iced tea
- 2 cups of water
- ½ cup dried hibiscus flowers, lightly rinsed
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
- Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan, take it off the heat and add the hibiscus flowers. Cover the pan, and let the tea brew for 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea using a fine sieve.
- Add the sugar, ginger and lemon juice and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Serve chilled.
